关于场地

关于此场馆

The Ateliers-musée Chana Orloff occupies the former home and working studios of the Ukrainian-born French sculptor Chana Orloff, situated in the Villa Seurat, a quiet private lane in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. Orloff settled here in the 1920s, and the building, designed by Auguste Perret, became the centre of her creative life for decades. She was a prominent figure in the School of Paris, producing portraits, figurative sculptures, and works in wood, bronze, and stone that brought her international recognition between the wars.

Today the museum preserves the atmosphere of a working artist's home, with sculptures, drawings, and personal objects displayed across the studio spaces much as Orloff left them. Visitors can explore the layered history of the building and its occupant through the permanent collection, which traces her career from early figurative work to later, more abstracted forms. Entry tickets grant access to this intimate and carefully maintained memorial to one of the twentieth century's most distinctive sculptors.
