Aquarium de Paris

Aquarium de Paris sits beneath the Trocadéro gardens, occupying a series of vaulted stone galleries that were originally built as part of the 1867 Universal Exhibition infrastructure and later developed into one of Europe's earliest public aquariums. Its position directly opposite the Eiffel Tower makes it one of the most distinctively located aquariums on the continent, drawing visitors into an underground world of marine life just steps from the Seine.

The aquarium is home to thousands of fish, sharks, rays, and invertebrates displayed across dozens of tanks, with its centrepiece being a vast cylindrical shark tank that visitors can walk around at close range. The current programme includes Priority Access Tickets, allowing guests to move through the galleries without the delays that can accompany one of Paris's most popular family attractions.
