关于场地

关于此场馆

King William Walk is the address in Greenwich, south-east London, that leads visitors directly to the Cutty Sark, the world's last surviving tea clipper and one of the most celebrated ships in British maritime history. Moored in a purpose-built dry berth at Greenwich Pier, the Cutty Sark was launched in 1869 and spent her working life carrying tea from China and wool from Australia before becoming a permanent museum ship. She is now cared for by the Royal Museums Greenwich and sits within the UNESCO World Heritage Site that takes in the Old Royal Naval College and the National Maritime Museum.

Entrance tickets to the Cutty Sark allow visitors to explore the restored lower hold, the main deck, and the collection of merchant navy figureheads displayed beneath the hull. The surrounding area of Greenwich offers the Painted Hall, the Royal Observatory, and the historic market, making King William Walk a natural starting point for a day spent among some of London's most significant historic landmarks.
