SPYSCAPE

SPYSCAPE is a spy museum and immersive experience venue on Eighth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, occupying a purpose-built space designed by the London-based architectural firm Universal Design Studio. The building's interior is defined by its dramatic industrial aesthetic, with exposed concrete, steel walkways, and a central atrium that sets the tone for the experiences within. SPYSCAPE invites visitors to explore the world of intelligence, surveillance, and espionage through interactive exhibits covering code-breaking, hacking, surveillance, and the psychology of deception. Each visitor receives a personalised spy profile at the end of their visit, generated by the choices and results recorded throughout.

The museum draws on the histories of real intelligence agencies and the stories of notable operatives to ground its exhibits in fact. It occupies a distinctive position in New York's cultural landscape as a serious attempt to bring the tradecraft of the intelligence world to a general audience, moving well beyond the novelty of spy-themed entertainment. The current programme centres on the core SPYSCAPE experience, which remains the venue's signature offering.
