Sentosa

Sentosa is Singapore's leisure island, separated from the southern tip of the mainland by a short causeway and accessible by cable car, monorail, or on foot across the Boardwalk. Once a British military garrison known as Pulau Blakang Mati, the island was redeveloped from the 1970s onwards into one of Southeast Asia's most visited resort destinations, covering roughly 500 hectares of beaches, themed attractions, hotels, and golf courses.

The Sentosa Fun Discovery Pass offers access to up to 80 attractions across the island, making it a practical way to explore the full breadth of what Sentosa holds, from the indoor thrills of Universal Studios Singapore and the S.E.A. Aquarium to the quieter stretches of Palawan and Siloso beaches. The island sits within the larger Sentosa and Pulau Brani masterplan, which continues to shape its development as a destination for both leisure visitors and Singapore residents seeking a retreat from the city proper.
