  • “Lot's of new information about the Rockefeller buildings. Our guide was really enthusiastic and well prepared. It would be better if the tour would contain the observation desk.”

  • “First of all, the tickets for the guided tour are very vague in the description of what is offered and at no point do they specify that you never get to the Observatory at the top of the Rockfeller. So I took a “Floor of the Rock” tour instead of a “Top of the Rock” tour. Imagine my disappointment when nothing led me to believe that I'd be staying on the ground to tour Rockefeller Center guided by a “robotic” guide spouting his text in English. Afterwards, the guide, who didn't speak a word of French, handed us an audioguide that offered no other language than English. For a tourist city, I'm still amazed and disappointed that no monument, museum or other, especially in New York, ever suggests a translator in French, Spanish or Mandarin, which are among the most widely spoken languages in the world, and given the number of foreign tourists. In short, being left on the ground with no hope of climbing to the top of the observatory made me leave the group in the middle of the tour, DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED. I hope you'll take my feedback into account.”
