“I was not expecting a comedy about Mary Lincoln having visted the Lincoln Museum in Springlield, Illinois and being haunted by the final room called the Hall of Whispers. As one walked through there were recorded whispering voices showing the disdain the high society of Washington DC had for Mary. Escola's play is clever and the magnificent cast do it justice. Every scene was riveting. So glad I saw it. I thoroughly recommend it.”
