The Rocks: Guided Walking Tour is a 90-minute guided walk through The Rocks, the oldest European settlement in Australia, located on the southern shore of Sydney Harbour. Starting at 28 Harrington St, the route follows the waterfront and takes in some of the most historically significant streets in Sydney, including views of the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Campbell's Cove, and Cadmans Cottage, one of the oldest surviving colonial buildings in the country.
An experienced guide leads the group through the area's layered history, from its origins as a convict settlement in 1788 through to its role as a working harbour district. Along the way, guests hear stories about the people, buildings, and events that shaped the city. The tour runs for approximately one hour and thirty minutes and includes an umbrella on rainy days. Wheelchair access is not available on this route. Tickets are subject to cancellation before the scheduled timeslot, and personal expenses are not included.
