Sydney Skydive – Shellharbour

Sydney Skydive at Shellharbour is a tandem skydiving experience departing from Shellharbour Airport, south of Sydney near Wollongong, with a drop altitude of up to 4,500 m. The total programme runs approximately three hours from check-in to landing, with up to 60 seconds of freefall at speeds exceeding 190 km/h. The jump zone sits above the New South Wales coastline, placing Bass Point, Bushrangers Bay, and the Shellharbour beaches and marina directly below during descent. Shellharbour Airport is one of several skydiving hubs serving Sydney attractions seekers looking for an activity outside the city centre.

Participants jump in tandem with a qualified instructor, so no prior experience is required. After freefall, the canopy opens for a controlled glide with views across the coral reefs and coastline before a beachside landing at Bass Point. Tickets cover all necessary equipment, a transfer back to Shellharbour Airport after landing, and a three-month membership with the Australian Parachute Federation. A photo and video package is available to purchase on-site but is not included in the standard booking. The experience is wheelchair accessible, and the cancellation policy allows changes before the scheduled timeslot.
