Rated 4.3 out of 5, this golf cart tour earns consistent praise for its knowledgeable, friendly guides who bring Rome's landmarks to life with engaging commentary. Reviewers highlight the convenience of covering the city's highlights efficiently, even in poor weather. Most guests would happily recommend the experience to others.

  • Good and insighful tour guide. Engaging personaly with us and offering relevant details and insights on the main landmarks of Rome. Polite and fiendly.

  • Paulo our tour guide was very friendly, informative and made our journey fun.

  • Paolo D. Really good guide, he kwnos a lot about the history of Rome, he was very friendly and helpful. Good tour even with bad weather. We highly recommend to take the tour with him as a guide.

  • We booked the 1.5 hr tour. Ernesto was our driver. Because of traffic he was little bit late but he did contact me to let us know. Ernesto was very good at explaining everything but it was difficult to hear him. The 2 people couldn't hear anything he said. It would be so much better if everyone had headsets! The seats at the back only had 1 seat belt which in our opinion was dangerous given the volume of traffic in Rome. On reflection we thought it was quite expensive! Not sure we would recommend the 1.5 hr tour.

  • The tour with Matt was brilliant. Matt had great knowledge of the area and helped make our tour a special time in Rome. Well recommended. Thanks.

  • It's a great way to see everything as well as learning about all the different monuments and buildings. Definitely would recommend this tour.

  • Nice tour with good guide Mattew

Golf Cart Tour: Express Highlights of Rome

This 1.5-hour electric golf cart tour covers Rome's most famous landmarks in a quick, comfortable format perfect for first-time visitors or travellers short on time. You'll glide through the historic centre with a knowledgeable local guide, taking in exterior views of the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Circus Maximus, and Piazza Navona.

The small-group experience accommodates up to 14 participants across two modern electric golf carts, with audio headsets ensuring you catch every detail of your guide's commentary. Rather than spending hours walking between sites, you'll efficiently cover Rome's key attractions while learning about their history and significance from a local perspective.

Starting from Via Monterone near the Pantheon, your guide provides live commentary as you pass centuries-old architecture and stop for photos at major landmarks. The tour focuses on exterior views and historical context rather than interior visits, making it an excellent orientation to Rome before exploring attractions in more depth. For a deeper dive into ancient Rome, consider pairing this with skip-the-line access to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
