Titlis Cableways is an attraction in Central Switzerland centred on Mount Titlis, a glacier peak rising to 3,020 metres above sea level near Engelberg. The headline feature is the TITLIS Rotair, the world's first revolving cable car, which rotates a full 360 degrees during the ascent to give passengers an unobstructed view of the surrounding Alpine terrain. The trip runs approximately four hours in total, making it a practical full half-day excursion from Zurich.
Tickets cover a return cable car journey between Engelberg and the Titlis summit station, a return ride on the Ice Flyer chairlift, and access to three further attractions at the peak: the Glacier Cave, carved directly into the ice; the Titlis Cliff Walk, a suspension bridge at glacier height; and the Titlis Glacier Park, a snow activity area open from June to September subject to conditions. Visitors can walk freely at 3,020 metres on the only accessible glacier in the region. Food, drinks, parking at the valley station, and other activities at Trübsee are not included. The starting point is Talstation Titlisbahn, Gerschnistrasse 12, Engelberg. Wheelchair access is available throughout.

Arrival and timing
Plan for a full day on the mountain: the experience runs to around four hours in total. Make your way to the valley station at Talstation Titlisbahn, Gerschnistrasse 12, Engelberg, and arrive in good time before your departure slot so you can collect any documents and board without rushing. If you are driving, note that parking at the valley station carries a separate fee not covered by your ticket.
Getting around the venue
Your ticket includes the return cable car journey from Engelberg to Titlis, the Ice Flyer chair lift, entry to the Glacier Cave, and access to the Titlis Cliff Walk. The glacier park is also included but operates from June to September subject to snow and weather conditions. At 3,020 metres above sea level the summit can be cold and exposed, so dress in warm, windproof layers and wear sturdy footwear suitable for snow and ice.
During your visit
Food and drinks are not included and must be purchased separately at the mountain restaurants. Activities at Trübsee are also at your own cost. Conditions at altitude can change quickly, so follow any guidance from staff on the mountain and stay within marked areas, particularly on the glacier and the Cliff Walk.
