Lisboa Story Centre

The Lisboa Story Centre stands in the Praça do Comércio, the grand riverside square that has served as Lisbon's ceremonial gateway since the city was rebuilt following the catastrophic earthquake of 1755. The museum takes that reconstruction as its starting point, guiding visitors through ten centuries of Lisbon's history by means of immersive rooms, scale models, and atmospheric audiovisual recreations that bring episodes from the Age of Discovery, the Moorish occupation, and the Marquis of Pombal's radical replanning of the city vividly to life.
