Herculaneum Entry Tickets at Archaeological Park of Herculaneum

Herculaneum is a Roman archaeological site near Naples, buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79 alongside Pompeii. Unlike Pompeii, Herculaneum was sealed under a deep flow of volcanic material that preserved organic matter, including wooden furniture, food, and textiles, to a degree rarely seen at any ancient site. Entry tickets give access to the excavated city, which covers a compact but densely layered area of streets, houses, and public buildings.

Inside, visitors move through residential blocks such as the House of the Deer and the House of the Mosaic Atrium, past intact wooden beams, carbonised shelving, and vivid floor mosaics.
