Parco del Colle Oppio is a public park on the Oppian Hill in Rome, one of the seven hills on which the ancient city was founded. The park sits directly above the buried remains of Nero's Domus Aurea, the vast imperial palace complex built after the great fire of 64 AD, and it offers some of the most immediate views of the Colosseum available anywhere in the city. The surrounding area is layered with Roman history, from the Baths of Trajan to the ruins that surface throughout the green space itself.

The park serves as a natural gathering point for visitors exploring the archaeological zone around the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill. Among the experiences currently available here, the Colosseum for Kids family-friendly guided tour introduces younger visitors to the history of the amphitheatre and its place in Roman life, making the ancient city accessible to children and adults alike.
