Bergamo Airport

Bergamo Airport, officially known as Il Caravaggio International Airport, serves as one of the principal gateways to the Milan metropolitan area, situated approximately 45 kilometres east of the city centre in the town of Orio al Serio. Although it carries the Bergamo name, the airport functions as a major hub for travellers heading to and from Milan, handling tens of millions of passengers each year and operating as a key base for low-cost carriers across Europe.

For those arriving at or departing from the airport, a direct coach transfer connects Bergamo Airport Bus Station with Milan Centrale railway station, operated by Terravision. The service runs along the A4 motorway corridor and drops passengers at one of Milan's most central transport interchanges, making it a straightforward option for onward travel into the city or connections across northern Italy.
