Museums Pass at Capitoline Museums

The Museums Pass is a multi-site entry pass for Rome, covering nine attractions across the city alongside an audio guide and luggage storage at Rome Termini Station. The pass includes entry to the Capitoline Museums, one of the oldest public museum complexes in the world, founded in 1471, as well as the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Barberini Palace, Villa Medici, the Case Romane del Celio, the Mamertine Prison, the Catacombs of Saint Callixtus, the Ikono Museum, and the Wax Museum. The starting point is Piazza del Campidoglio, the hilltop square designed by Michelangelo that sits above the Roman Forum.

Holders move between sites at their own pace, using the included audio guide to navigate the collections and historical spaces. The Capitoline Museums hold Roman sculpture and the original bronze Marcus Aurelius equestrian statue. The Catacombs of Saint Callixtus on the Appian Way contain early Christian burial galleries stretching several kilometres underground. The Case Romane del Celio preserves Roman residential layers beneath the Caelian Hill. Tickets cover all nine entry points listed, the audio guide, and luggage storage across Rome. The pass is wheelchair accessible and carries a non-refundable cancellation policy.
