Khristian had a great way of making the history and science feel personal and engaging rather than like a lecture. He was also endlessly patient and enthusiastic about stopping to help us capture the moment. The photos he took for us honestly put mine to shame - he knew exactly where to stand and when to shoot to make the most of the light filtering through the canyon walls. Those pictures are going to be great memories for years to come. The hike itself was simply beautiful. Every turn revealed something more stunning than the last, and the whole experience felt both awe-inspiring and very accessible.
