À propos du lieu

À propos de ce lieu

The Mob Museum, formally known as the National Museum of Organised Crime and Law Enforcement, occupies a landmark federal courthouse building in downtown Las Vegas. The courthouse itself played a direct role in American mob history: it was the site of the 1950 Kefauver Committee hearings, one of the first televised congressional investigations into organised crime in the United States. That historical weight gives the building an authenticity that few museums can claim.

The museum traces the rise and fall of organised crime through artefacts, immersive exhibits, and first-hand accounts from law enforcement officers and former criminals alike. Visitors can examine genuine evidence from the St Valentine's Day Massacre, step inside a recreated speakeasy, and explore the complex relationship between the mob and the city of Las Vegas itself. General admission entry tickets are available, granting access to the full range of permanent exhibits across multiple floors of this carefully restored downtown courthouse.
