About Belém Bundle

The Belém Bundle is a combined entry and audio tour package covering three of Lisbon's most significant sites in the Belém district: Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, and a curated audio-guided tour of the area. The package is issued through Lisbon City Cards, a pass provider that groups access to multiple Lisbon attractions under a single booking.

Belém Tower, completed in 1519, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the Manueline style to guard the mouth of the Tagus river. Jerónimos Monastery, also a UNESCO-listed site begun in 1501, houses the tomb of Vasco da Gama and stands as one of the finest examples of late Gothic architecture in Portugal. Together, they form the historical core of a district that was the departure point for Portugal's Age of Discovery voyages.

What to expect

Entry to Belém Tower gives access to its interior rooms and the terrace overlooking the Tagus estuary. At Jerónimos Monastery, visitors can walk the double-storey cloister, the church nave, and the chapter house. The audio-guided tour covers the wider Belém district, providing historical context for both monuments and the surrounding area at your own pace.

Booking also includes a 10% discount code redeemable against entry to a range of other Lisbon attractions, including the Oceanário de Lisboa, Immersivus Gallery, Carmo Convent, the Lisbon Cable Car, and the hop-on hop-off bus. Note that this bundle does not include wheelchair access.

Belém and getting there

The Belém district sits on the northern bank of the Tagus, roughly six kilometres west of Lisbon's city centre. Tram 15E from Praça da Figueira and Praça do Comércio runs directly to Belém, and the district is also served by suburban rail from Cais do Sodré station. Both monuments are within a short walk of each other along the riverside.
