Your experience Discover Buda’s historic heart on a guided Italian-language walking tour, exploring key monuments and local stories in just a few hours. Getting started Meet your Italian-speaking g
The Buda Italian Guided Walking Tour is a guided walking tour of Budapest's Buda district, conducted in Italian, covering the area's principal historical monuments and neighbourhoods. Buda, the older of the two sides of the Hungarian capital, is home to Castle Hill, the Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church, and the Royal Palace, all of which date from medieval foundations rebuilt and expanded across several centuries. The tour runs for a few hours and is led by an Italian-speaking guide who connects the architecture and urban layout to the broader history of the city.
Participants walk through the main streets and squares of the Buda side, stopping at key landmarks while the guide provides context on Hungarian history, the Ottoman occupation, Habsburg reconstruction, and the role Buda played before the unification of Budapest in 1873. The route covers elevated viewpoints over the Danube and the Pest bank, as well as the cobbled lanes of the Castle District. Tickets cover the guided tour itself; participants should confirm meeting point, duration, and any entrance fees for individual monuments at the time of booking.
These tickets cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
