Participants follow the route at their own pace, with the app acting as a digital guide throughout. The canal belt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site laid out in the 17th century, provides a varied backdrop of arched bridges, gabled facades, and tree-lined waterways. No physical guide accompanies the tour, so a smartphone or tablet is required and not provided. Booking covers access to the app and all its content, including the photographer's tips and the full route from Dam Square through the canal district.
