Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius: Entry + Roundtrip from Naples is a full-day guided tour combining skip-the-line entry to two of Campania's most significant sites, departing by coach from Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi in Naples. Pompeii, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is explored over a 2.5-hour walking tour led by an official guide. The preserved streets, forum, bathhouses, and plaster casts of victims give a direct account of Roman urban life in the first century.

After a lunch break at your own expense, the group transfers to Vesuvius National Park for a 40-minute ascent on foot to the crater rim at approximately 1,000 metres, accompanied by an official Alpine guide. The path ends at the edge of the active crater, with panoramic views across the Bay of Naples and the surrounding Campanian plain. The full day runs to around eight hours. Tickets cover the roundtrip coach transfer from Naples, skip-the-line entry to both Pompeii and Vesuvius National Park, the services of both guides, and a headset to hear commentary clearly throughout.
