The Melbourne Skydeck Package pairs entry to Melbourne Skydeck, the observation level on the Eureka Tower, with The Edge glass cube, a virtual-reality ride and a bar voucher. Entry covers the open viewing floor 285 metres above the city, with views across the Yarra, the bay and the surrounding suburbs from the highest public vantage point in the southern hemisphere.
The Edge slides out from the building in a glass box for a look straight down, while the virtual-reality ride adds a short themed sequence and the voucher covers a drink at the deck bar. Allow an hour or so for the full set. Melbourne Skydeck sits on Southbank, a short walk across the river from the centre of Melbourne, and the views are best in clear weather toward dusk.
