Mooney Mooney sits in a narrow valley on the Central Coast of New South Wales, where the old Pacific Highway winds down through dense eucalypt forest before crossing the Hawkesbury River. The settlement is small enough that most travellers pass through without stopping, yet the waterway it overlooks is one of the most historically significant on the New South Wales coast.
