The waterfront at Marina di Cassano retains a working character, with fishing boats alongside leisure craft, and the scale remains domestic rather than resort-like. The church of Santa Maria della Grazie and the civic museum housed in the eighteenth-century Villa Fondi give the upper town a modest but genuine cultural weight, the villa's gardens offering one of the more composed viewpoints over the bay.
